Happy Anniversary

On June 17th we celebrated our one year anniversary by eating the top of our cake. It was moist, delicious, and it tasted so fresh!

Strawberry Jam

Amy came over last week to make strawberry freezer jam with fresh strawberries from the garden. We had alot of fun and it tasted great!!

J.C. graduated form his 5 year electrical apprenticeship on Friday. He was honored, along with his other classmates, during a banquet at Eagle Creek Resort in Shelbyville.

My Trip to Louisville

For those of you dying to to know, my recent pictures are from my trip to Louisville, Kentucky. I was trying to upload a movie of the fireworks but haven't been able to get it to work. The main attraction of the weekend was Thunder over Louisville. This big fireworks show is the start of the Kentucky Derby Festival. There was an estimated 800,000 people down by the waterfront.

We sat on top of a parking garage to watch the fireworks. We could also see planes from the air show before it got dark.
