Happy Birthday to the Cat in the Hat

March 1 was the 50th anniversary of the first printing of Dr. Seuss's book, The Cat in the Hat, and March 2nd is Dr. Seuss' birthday. So to celebrate, I made a Cat in the Hat costume to wear to school and work. I will be reading Dr. Seuss classics to the classes at school.

Valentine's Fondue Party

Amy and Nicole came over on Sunday for an exciting afternoon of Peanut butter and Chocolate Fondue. Cookies, bananas, apples and pretzels were dipped in this delicious mixture. We were celebrating Valentine's Day a few days late because of the weather. Everyone had a great time!!

Happy Valentine's Day

Even though we had snowy weather, I still received several valentines.

This afternoon we had a cheese fondue party with Amy. We dipped apples, chips, carrots and ham. It was delicious :-) 

BBQ anyone?? We finally used the last of our Walmart gift cards and bought this grill. It works great!!
